mixed feelings about my stay, honestly.
acceptable locationdirty carpetcracked glass
the location was acceptable for seeing the sites.
the room was not great. the carpet was dirty and i saw a large crack in the glass between the bedroom and the bathroom. i mentioned the cracked glass to reception, but nothing happened.

the hotel has stylish decor and provides good storage. the traditional garden felt tranquil. the breakfast room was comfortable. all the staff provided fantastic service. i enjoyed coffee and an excellent meal there.
the road directly outside was a building site . heavy diggers created noise at 8am. i was not informed of these planned works prior to arrival.

The restaurant area created a peaceful atmosphere. breakfast included fresh egg dishes. the restaurant remains closed on sundays and mondays. a meal at the restaurant proved excellent. I liked the food very much.
